About Us

We are south of Diamond's Restaurant and share a drive with University Auto.
Our Mission: To take a community based approach to saving and providing quality lives to animals by facilitating education of humane ownership, affordable spay/neuter programs, healthcare, temporary shelter and permanent homes. "Rescue, Rehab, Educate, Re-home"
New Hope Animal Shelter, dba New Home Animal Outreach, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2016. We are a volunteer based organization focused on assisting lower-income families take care of their pets through our outreach programs.

Have you always been interested in helping animals in your community? We always need volunteers!
Winter for Strays is HARD
Here are some ideas that you can use to help stray animals while keeping your own animals safe.
Emergency Medical Care
Your $30 can help fund our Emergency Medical Care Program. This provides financial help when a pet is injured or becomes ill and the owner cannot afford to take their pet to the vet.
Monthly EVENTS
Pet Food Bank - Second Saturday each month
We offer reduced price pet food at our new location, 2919 N. Oakland Avenue on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00AM - 12:00PM (noon) for low income families. Cash or credit only, no checks will be accepted. Visit Our Outreach page for our Inventory List and more information on how the Pet Food Bank works.

ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF HOUSEHOLD ITEMS NOW to be included in the yard sale.
